2010 Wedding Trends
Bridal
gown designs for 2010 are making the statement “REFLECT
YOUR INDIVIDUAL STYLE.” There has never been a better time
to do just that. Ultimately, your gown will be the one you
find that makes you look and feel like the beautiful bride
you have always dreamed of being.
Lace, of all types bold and soft, is still very big and
carrying over into the future season for a very romantic
look. Still popular is the empire bodice with long,
flowing lines in soft fabrics such as chiffon and soft
netting. Finishing the look is beaded bodice accent.
This style is a hit for petite or tall. We are
also seeing the gradual return of the ballgown.
This time with softly draped and tucked skirting.
Also very strong is the addition of fabric floral and
large exotic bead accents at waistline or bodice front.
Again, in contrast colors. Ruffles and Ribbons take
Ultra Feminine to a new level. Rouching is still a major
factor in design but softer. It is such a figure
flattering look.
You will see such diversion in style choices it would
be hard not to find the perfect gown. From short to long,
simple to ornate, classic to Hollywood Glam-the decision is
yours!
Jewelry in Victorian and Retro styles seem to be the
preference. While veils seem to be a matter of
personal choice instead of a must as the past dictated, the
french net minimal pieces are very popular and fashion
forward, especially when worn with sparkling feather and
floral hair jewelry. Silk flower hair accessories are also
very popular.
The experts are telling us that Teal, all Purple shades, and
Gray or Silver are trend colors for your bridesmaid party.
They are also speaking of the combination of these colors,
not just the single color choice! Even better is Bold Color
to make splash. Either way, strut your stuff and show
your excellent individual taste. Now is the time.
